Composite Electroless Nickel

Our Process

Composite Electroless Nickel

Properties of Electroless Nickel can be further enhanced through the co-deposition of non-metallic particles. Silicon carbide increases hardness, silicon nitride and boron nitride improve self-lubrication, and PTFE (Teflon) enhances abrasion resistance and sliding wear.Electroless nickel composites are widely used to boost performance in various industries. In automotive applications, they improve pistons, cylinder bores, and rotating parts. The tool and die industry benefits from their use in molds and die components, while the electronics sector employs them in camera shutters, video slide pins, and computer components.
